I'd start with telling them to adopt Hillarys UNIVERSAL healthcare plan.  Take on her plans to rebuild the middle class, develop Green Collar jobs, stop foreclosures...

does anyone seriously think that after the RBC Committee meeting, anyone with platform suggestions will be listened to?  the platform's gonna be enough of a mess already just to accomodate The One's™ many positions on NAFTA, IRAQ, abortion, etc, etc.

Seriously, if they're willing to substitute the jusgment of 30 RBC members (or however many were in the majority in that vote) for that of the 600,000 who turned out to vote in Michigans primary, then anything we have to say will fall on deaf ears.

Face it folks... the DNC wrote the sript months ago - we're expected to play out our parts without even getting a look at that script.

what I think. I don't think he wants to hear it, however. I would say, "What the fuck do you people think you are doing foisting the most unqualified candidate in the history of the United States on the American electorate??" Then I would have a printed out list of everything wrong with Obama, starting from his Chicago days as an organizer to the latest screw-up.

I would ask him why they are foisting a man with no ethics or principles on us, why they picked a nobody who reads a teleprompter nicely, but cannot articulate his policies, over an established Senator who can explain each and every point of policy, how it would work and how it would be paid for.

I would ask him if Obama has been told that the money he blithely expects to have available when Iraq winds down is borrowed and therefore will not be available to use, unless we borrow more.

I would ask him if he wants someone with Michelle's manners and attitude greeting foreign heads of state in the name of the people of the United States.  

I would ask him if he wants to see the United States be a laughing stock in the rest of the world after Obama has been in office a few months.

I would ask him how much Obama paid for the nomination.

I would ask him what the DNC has been smoking.

the DNC what I think.  I would love for them to know that I get it...they wanted a man they could control and could not deal ever with a woman who is smarter than them, has more intestinal fortitude than any of them; and has PROVEN for four decades what it means to work for the poor, the oppressed, for those with no voice throughout the world.

I would love to get in Howard Dean's face and tell him what an a**h*t he is and how I am sorry I ever defended him to friends. I would love to let the so called men of the democratic party, men like Kennedy, Kerry, and Dean, know what a bunch of cowards they are and continue to be.
I would love to tell them to get over themselves and start representing citizens instead of working to get their egos stroked.  
I understand now that they are the elitists who never got past a poor, white trash boy like Clinton beating them at their own game.  I understand now that like too many men in history, they used the old "attacking his woman" to get back at him...and would give them all a copy of "Against Our Will" to read.

I will tell them that they have forever hurt the democratic process and that some day they will understand how wrong they were.  

And then I would .......well, I can't say what I might do but their manhood would be hurtin'.

1) Resign now. For the good of the Democratic Party, what's left of it.

2) Take Obama, Donna Brazile, and Nancy Pelosi (minimum) with you when you leave.

That'll do.

There's no excuse for this, DNC.  None.

I received that email.  I thought this paragraph was interesting:

Traditionally, the drafting of the platform is not open to ordinary people.

I guess the DNC consists of extraordinary people. I signed up for several meetings and filled in my first name as Ordinary and last name as People.
