Why is the MSM so pro-BO?

by: Nobama

Wed Jul 30, 2008 at 14:43:47 PM EDT

This is the question I've been struggling to answer since the beginning of the year. The complex answer can be summed up in three letters: CFR. Understand the significance of those three little letters and it'll change your understanding of everything that's going on in the world. CFR stands for Council on Foreign Relations. Sounds pretty innocuous, no? What it is is insidious, pervasive, and is seen by some as being anti-American due to a globalist, multicultural agenda aimed at a New World Order. If nothing else, CFR, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderberg Group are immensely influential. Some of the members of CFR include the liberal elite who's who in the media, government, and business, though there are a few conservative Republicans in the 3,000 member organization.

Bill Clinton is a member of CFR, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderberg Group (all part of David Rockefeller's globalist agenda) so why did they pick Obama over Hillary? You may have noticed that we, the people, had no say in who got picked to be the nominee. The CFR-infested media crammed BO down our throats. Why?

Nobama :: Why is the MSM so pro-BO?
The problem CFR, Trilateral, and Bilderberg have with Hillary is that she isn't as willing as Obama to do their bidding. They look on Obama as a White/Arab/African who's loved by Islamists, Islamic extremists, Muslims, Leftists, and Blacks the world over. The next frontier is Africa so who better than Obama to secure access to key mineral rights that are vital to future technology and future profits? The future is not hydrocarbon-based. It's about electric cars that use motors based on permanent magnets made from certain key elements found in Africa. Also, the key is future battery technology that will also be based on minerals found in Africa.

While we're busy inventing the future and trying to secure Africa's mineral rights, in competition with China, Islamists are busy seizing control of Africa. That's what all the genocide is all about. Obama wants to send 10s of billions of Global Poverty tax dollars to Africa per year. The money would go to a Bilderberg group at the UN if Congress passes his Global Poverty Act that would create a new tax on the US. The US would not control how much money is given because it's based on a percentage of GDP  or what it's used for. Loss of sovereignty, anyone? That little bill of Obama's that no one talks about was his entrĂ© to Bilderberg, his way of ingratiating himself. Also of interest was Obama's willingness to help his cousin in Kenya, Raila Odinga, a man who wants Kenya to adopt Sharia law that says it's just fine to behead women who fail to wear the right outfit. Isn't it great that NOW and NARAL support Obama?

Obama is now engaged in a huge effort to cram amnesty for illegal aliens down our throats. It worked so well when Reagan did that. Obama did praise Reagan, didn't he? CFR, Trilateral, and Bilderberg have no interest in borders or nationalism so he is in tune with their agenda. Michelle and Barack belonged to a leftist anti-American church for 20 years for a reason.

What the PUMAs are doing is great and it's working. Despite all the drooling media, the voters aren't swayed. As we saw during the primaries, even though BO outspent Hillary 3 and 4 to 1 in some states and Hillary still won them. He got no appreciable or lasting bounce from his world tour. The media coverage just isn't helping, nor are his TV ads or any other damn thing he's done or is doing. His spending $20m to secure the Hispanic vote and $5m ad buy during the Olympics will probably amount to no appreciable or sustainable gain. People just don't trust him and no amount of advertising money is going to change that. His positions on issues change with his audience so what's to trust?

Anyway, if you want to know why the media has been so in the tank for Obama, just look at who belongs to the Council on Foreign Relations:

CFR corporate roster:

http://www.cfr.org/about/corpo...

Tom Brokaw of NBC is currently on the board of directors at CFR and Angelina Jolie is a member. Key people at NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN are part of CFR. Michelle Obama is a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, originally the Chicago branch of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

If you look at the corporate roster, you'll find some companies that have given large sums to Obama's campaign. Just go to opensecrets.org.

they don't want Hillary (0.00 / 0)
she's been smeared and jeered, and they do not want to pay respect to her, for any reason. It would be too embarrassing if the woman they've tried to scare off for the last eight years, became the best president we've ever had.  Too humiliating, best to praise her contender, and keep jeering and sneering at her.  It's personal, for them. but now that she's gone, it's a new story, Barrack isn't quite so loved when he is no longer the great male anti-Cinton hope.

This is a very interesting post, Nobama. I never thought about using the Obama brand for imperial designs on Africa's mineral wealth. I know that China is spending a ton of money in Africa to build an infrastructure to access their resources. Great work.

I think you may be on to something here, which ties into domestic issues and the big Wall Street money behind Obama as well. At the Black Agenda Report, Pam Martens writes a great article, The Obama Bubble: Why Wall Street Needs a Presidential Brand, in which she asserts that:

Despite Barack Obama's claim that his campaign represents a mass "movement" of "average folks," the initial core of his support was largely comprised of rich denizens of Wall Street. Why would the super wealthy want a percieved "black populist" to become the nation's chief executive officer? The "Obama bubble" was nurtured by Wall Street in order to have a friend in the White House when the captains of capital are made to face the legal consequences for deliberately creating current and past economic "bubbles." Wall Street desperately needs a president who will "sweep all the corruption and losses, would-be indictments, perp walks and prosecutions under the rug and get on with an unprecedented taxpayer bailout of Wall Street." Who better to sell this "agenda to the millions of duped mortgage holders and foreclosed homeowners in minority communities across America than our first, beloved, black president of hope and change?"

Housing prices are still tumbling and foreclosures are still on the rise. The Obama brand can be used to placate the masses of Americans losing their homes. From the Nation, The Subprime Swindle - Is the Mortgage Industry Bankrupty Black America?

...for black America, the "mortgage meltdown" looks less like a market hiccup than a massive strip mining of hard-won wealth, a devastating loss that will betray the promise of class mobility for tens of thousands of black families.

Thanks again for your post. The American people are getting bamboozled by Obama and all his big money backers.

Alice left me in Wonderland.

Right on! (0.00 / 0)

I had read Pam Martens' articles and they're excellent. That's how I first learned about Obama's big money sources, the same ones responsible for all the subprime slime.

If Black people knew that Obama was part of the problem and not of the solution, they wouldn't back him. For some reason, they seem to ignore the fact that he did nothing for the poor in South Side Chicago.

Not all the MSM...you have to (0.00 / 0)
tune into some conservative talk tv/radio shows, and give a peek at Morning Joe and, neverthoughtI'dsaythis, Bill O'Reilly.  Ok, some is bs, but you have to listen to both sides, or you'll go crazy.

Chances are, the ones you agree with, are your new points of light towards being a more informed voter?

I had an epiphany the other night, someone from the right, that's right, the right....told Billo that Obama had some rock bands warming up that 200k crowd in Berlin **For Free**...not missing a beat...Billo said, "Well, they didn't have to stay for the speech".

I'm now listening to the RW....none are too crazy about McCain....but....he may just be better than THE ONE?

The Global Poverty (0.00 / 0)
Tax is so complex and so scary! I tried writing about it a while ago, but I am not the researcher for THAT job. Billons to Africa, the little clause that it ties us into regarding eliminating small arms, ltos of sneaky sneaky stuff designed to take away our sovereignity (sp?)

This is an item that needs a LOT of attention! We need somebody who can do research (hint hint) to bring it all together in a piece that the average person can get through quickly. Attention span in this country has gone to hell.

Yes, GPA needs LOTS more attention! (0.00 / 0)

Thanks for stopping by, PMM. Isn't it interesting that people keep asking about what significant legislation Obama has written as a US Senator and the Global Poverty Act is never mentioned? Not even by the right wingnuts at Fox. What's up with that?

HINT: Rupert Murdoch is a BIG part of the problem since he's affiliated with CFR and Bilderberg!

So, not even Fox is the answer. It's nice to have people like Lou Dobbs, Joe Scarborough, abrasive and sexist Bill O'Reilly, and maybe even Glenn Beck but they work for globalists. Basically, they're playing the victim card but they aren't spending much time on the source of the problem.

The public is being duped into voting against their own interests so will end up voting for representatives that don't have their best interests at heart.

To Glenn Beck's credit, he did do a show on Obama's GPA back on Valentine's Day. I didn't know about it because that's the anniversary of when my wife and I met 37 years ago. Please give a listen:

I can never understand why more attention hasn't been paid (0.00 / 0)
to Obama's environment when he was growing up.  I read an article earlier in the campaign, which I couldn't begin to find now, that told about the different type of political beliefs he was exposed to in the household he grew up in in Indonesia. His mother and father and stepfather in his early years certainly were more unusual than the average american family member, and reading of his mother, she definitely was free spirited and he was exposed to a very different culture than in the US. Yet there is little talk of this and he avoids any type of mention of it.  I have read that his homelife was very political and influenced by some radical beliefs. I am not saying there is anything sinister about his childhood, but it was very different.  I don't know, if I had grown up with that type of influence and home life surrounding me, and was as politically aware as Obama was even in his kindergarten years :), it would have made a real impression on me for life. Even though he was there only for about 5 years, they were  definitely impressionable years.   You can't tell me that it didn't have some impact on Obama and his political views that are now present in his political life. And he comes off as so politically dispassionate and somewhat conservative to the
public.  What is up with him and all that?  I would bet he is not the same person in public as he is behind closed doors.

That Global Poverty Act is actually a creation of the Bilderberg Group so Obama is acting as a front man for it.

http://www.americanfreepress.n...

IOW, he didn't come up with the idea of 0.7% of GNP as a UN-administered tax on the US, Bilderberg did!

I think this recommended diary is the signal that I need to take my leave of Alegre's Corner.

This is dealing in conspiracy theories and right-wing propaganda.
I'm really disappointed.

I support Hillary Clinton.  I am disgusted with the DNC.  I'm disgusted with the media.  But this?  Puh-leeze!
We don't have to stoop this low, do we?

No conspiracy theory here! (0.00 / 0)

I know all about the right-wing conspiracy theories about Bilderberg, CFR, and the Trilateral Commission but I only deal in facts. If you had bothered to read what I wrote and if you had read what I linked, you'd understand what I'm trying to say without miscasting this diary. If you don't want to bother, that's your problem. The corporations taking over is NOT a conspiracy theory (0.00 / 0)
This has been happening for years to America. The Corporations have bought the News Media stations, most of Congress and both parties are just as indebted to the big Corporations. Citizens are the worker ants, consumers and they want us as dumbed down an drugged up (Drug companies Make up diseases to scare people and sell more drugs Read OUR DAILY MEDS) and controlled- Independent thinkers are not valued anymore.

The so called Progressives at dkos use to always discuss bringing the big corporations down yet they support Obama?? That doesn't make any sense to me.

I've been talking about this for years and PEOPLE don't want to believe it so they call us Tin foilers and this is all conspiracy crap-  Well Radiowalla, its not a conspiracy theory. Open your eyes and thinking a bit more, check out the links and do more research. The truth is out there and
Nobama has brought some of that truth here.

If I have any links to poor sources, please point them out. Is the source bad or are the facts wrong? This is a learning experience for me so I'd appreciate knowing about any problems with the facts I've mentioned or my ideas or concepts.

David Rockefeller himself verified his agenda:

Via Wikipedia:

For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as "internationalists" and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.

More on the GPA tax (0.00 / 0)

Did you know that the GPA would send 0.7% of US GNP to the UN per year? Current US GNP annual rate is $14.322 trillion so the UN cut would be over $100.25 billion this year. That's $436 per every man, woman, and child in the country per year or $1743.55 for a family of 4.

The idea for this tax came from the Bilderberg Group and the money would go to a group it set up at the UN. The US would have no say in how the money is used but most of it would go to Africa. This tax would be above and beyond all the foreign aid we already give to the world. This GPA tax would increase our foreign aid contribution about sevenfold.

When the idea for this tax first came up about 3 years ago, Bush balked. Now, Obama, a frontman for Bilderberg, is cosponsoring the bill with Chuck Hagel and it's being pushed through by Biden. If it's ever enacted, and it would be if Obama were to win, it'd be an additional strain on the economy that'd force some overall increase in taxes.

Country before party.

Do not like the sound of this group (0.00 / 0)
A global poverty tax, sure, we've been doing that for years. But it doesn't trickle down over there, microcredit is working.

Obama seems like a poor negotiator - we should have oversight into how the money is used if we set this up. I'll say it again - he is too susceptible to flattery.

0.7% GPA tax (0.00 / 0)
The 0.7% amount is interesting. In 2005, the Episcopal Church set a minimum goal of annual charitable giving of 0.7%. In the Report of the Special Commission on The Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion (pdf), section 60 provides the details.

Millennium Development Goals
60. We recognize and affirm that the call to repentance is a global exhortation, and we acknowledge and repent of our failure to attend fully to the suffering of our brothers and sisters around the globe. We continue to urge individual Episcopalians (and other Christians), parishes, dioceses, and provinces of the Anglican Communion, as well as our own governmental bodies, to commit to the realization of the Millennium Development Goals by the year 2015. We continue to exhort our members to commit financial resources, at least at the level of 0.7% of annual income, for international development, and to advocate with our governmental leaders for the accomplishment of these goals.

Coincidence? We need to take care of things at home before we make a financial commitment like this. I support charitable giving but within our means and our country is so far in debt this is unthinkable IMHO. I also don't support "giving" as a ruse for greasing the hands of corrupt local governments in Africa so that the US can obtain access to Africa's mineral wealth. There are other programs that do a much better job of making a real difference on the ground and in people's lives.

Car batteries and Africa (0.00 / 0)
I'll have to read up on this. Very interesting piece Nobama.

Electric car batteries (0.00 / 0)

Right now, we don't have a battery that would take a car far enough without needing to be recharged and recharging takes hours. New types of batteries have to be invented that would use metals found in Africa, South America, India, and China. Right now, we use nickel, cadmium, titanium, and lithium in batteries but there will be other types of elements used. This new type of battery has to be light weight, long lasting, and quick to recharge.

Right now, the focus is on lithium-ion batteries and lithium is mostly found in South American countries and China. Elements needed for the magnets in electric car motors are mostly found in Africa and China.

Electric Car Market Could Race for Materials
Car and battery makers say the arrival of plug-in hybrids and all-electric cars could intensify the global competition for materials.

thank you for this (0.00 / 0)
VERY informative!  I appreciate the work that went into this article.

Conspiracy theories? (0.00 / 0)

Sure, there are plenty of conspiracy theories out there and 9/11 truthers. I'm not into that sort of thing since a lot of wild conspiracies are concocted by right-wing wackos. I'm just a liberal Dem and a Hillary supporter. You can't help wonder what went on this year during the campaign and what happened with the DNC and the media.

At no time this year did Obama have a lead over Hillary sufficient to justify his media coverage. As a matter of fact, Hillary finished the primaries 300,000 votes ahead, a little fact suppressed by the DNC and the media.

There's no hiding the fact that the RBC meeting in DC at the end of May made rulings that violated DNC rules. You don't steal votes from one candidate and give them to another. Why did they do that and why did they arrive at that decision in private during a 2.5 hr. "lunch" break?

It's also a fact that Obama cosponsored the Global Poverty Act of 2007 (S. 2433) that calls for a .7% of GNP tax on the US that would send over $100 billion per year, at current GNP rate, to a group at the UN that was set up by Bilderberg. Conspiracy? Nope, just a plain and simple fact. What might someone in Ohio, let's say, think about that?

Big government not answer, says Bath resident

http://www.akron.com/akron-ohi...

I must conclude, for any individual to suggest bigger government is the save-all answer to our nation's significant problems is ridiculous. This suggestion can only compound a wide array of unintended consequences. For instance, have you heard about "The Global Poverty Act of 2007" (aka s.2433)? This is current legislation moving through Congress to provide welfare to foreign nations of the world. The cost of this legislation is projected to exceed $845 billion, to be paid by U.S. taxpayers. Unfortunately, you will not be able to view any congressman's name that voted for this legislation. Our legislators decided to have a verbal tally, so no written records will be maintained relative to this vote.

Why won't any members of Congress go on record? Why won't the MSM even mention this bill? Why won't they discuss the UN's Millennium Development Goals? They're the ones who came up with the idea, you know.

A poster on another blog (Thanks, Mary!) mentioned Tom Daschle's trip to Rwanda. Here's his Web site:

http://www.one.org/blog/catego...

I've been wondering about the African connection ever since the Washington Post suddenly became full of stuff about Africa immediately following the Bilderberg meeting near DC in early June. It was at that time that bylines began appearing in the paper identified as "Washington Post Foreign Service" for stories about Africa, from Africa, and nowhere else on the planet. Lots of positive stories on globalization also began appearing, along with a special advertising supplement in Sunday papers called Rise Up, which talks about diversity and multiculturalism. The Post has been extremely pro-Obama this year but since the Bilderberg meeting it has begun running photos of Obama to illustrate totally unrelated stories, such as body language in the health section, and bible passages in the religion section.
