ACTION: Call Supers Who Sold Out

People have been asking "what can we do?" about those superdelegates who've sold out their constituents to the highest bidder. Well PUMA-PAC has an answer - call and fax those folks.

I know this is a bit after the fact re their targeted call-time, but I just got the following from PUMA PAC and I thought (since we were just discussing this earlier today) we might make a few phone calls or fire off a few faxes.

Hello Puma PAC,
Today we are holding accountable those Super Delegates who appear to have been for sale. After receiving donations from Barack Obama's political action committee, the Hope Fund, these politicians endorsed him and pledged to vote for him as Super Delegates in Denver. EVEN THOUGH HILLARY WON IN THEIR DISTRICTS IN MARGINS AS HIGH AS 60 POINTS! Let that sink in for a moment. Barack Obama gave these Super Delegates LOTS OF MONEY and now they are going to OVERTURN THE WILL OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS IN DENVER.
FOR MONEY.
FOR SHAME!
Puma PAC, we MUST speak up! Fax the following document to the list of Super Delegates below. We will also be calling 3 of these Super Delegates today.

when you call, ask them how much it would cost for them to switch?

Let's also find out how they justify choosing them, what they base their illustrious support on?

I think they got bought pretty cheap.

Remember when Barrack told us Hillary is bought because she accepted money? They fact that no favors were returned meant nothing to him? Is that why he knows what money can buy? He just didn't know that both parties needed to be corrupt. If one isn't, that stops the chain.

did you hear Nancy Pelosi on NPR this morning, touting all the accomplishments of her Democratic Congress? I was amazed at how many of the callers held her feet to the fire on Iraq, FISA, torture, etc.

She was particularly pathetic answering a question about why she took impeachment off the table. Her position now is that there's only six months left so it doesn't make sense to impeach the crooks in the Bush administration. There was no mention of the eighteen months that has already elapsed with no impeachment action. Evidently she figures it's okay that they get away with breaking law after law, so long as they eventually go away.

Madam Speaker got downright testy with the last caller. He claimed she had urged Hillary to get out of the race early on and also that she had said "Get over it" after the RBC crowned Obama. She told him, "You don't know what you're talking about" and her tone was more than a little forceful.

I can't find a link directly quoting her on "get over it" but there was this on Hillary quitting the race, back in May.

"Her statement last week to the effect that the drawn-out campaign was producing "negative dividends... in terms of strife within the party," was seen by some as a coded attempt to tell Mrs Clinton that her time was up."
