Blog Shutdowns: Spam Attack from IPs Assigned to barackobama.com (by NancyA at No Quarter)
The other day Sitemeter attacked Internet Explorer and shut down quite a few sites. Today, there is another report on Blog Shutdowns from Death By A 1000 Papercuts. Here is what they had to say: "At least one of the attacks in the latest wave of blog shutdowns this past week came from IPs assigned to barackobama.com." This leaves us with an unanswered question. Who or what caused the "malfunction" in Sitemeter?

Obama says Florida, Michigan delegates should vote (McClatchy)
Barack Obama Sunday asked the Democratic National Committee to let Florida's and Michigan's delegates cast full votes at the party's national convention in Denver later this month. The DNC had ruled that Florida and Michigan couldn't attend the convention because their early primaries broke party rules.
Yes, well, if we're really talking party unity, then you should also give up the delegates that were donated to you by the rules committee, delegates that you didn't earn because you weren't even on the ballot in Michigan, Senator Obama.  Of course, you won't do that, because if you did you'd be behind in pledged delegates.  Riverdaughter did the calculation for us: "[Hillary] had over 100 delegates from Florida and 73 from Michigan. If he got zero from Michigan and both states had been able to seat with full strength, she could have added over 86 delegates and he would have lost 59. Hmm, that brings her total to 1725 and Obama's to 1707.

Oh, and change the rules so that superdelegates cannot vote for a candidate who gave them money.  If that's not a bribe, I don't know what is.

Oh, and insist that superdelegates vote in alignment with the districts or regions they represent, as you insisted months ago, when Hillary was ahead in superdelegates.  When they started announcing for you, against the way their constituents voted, suddenly we quit hearing that argument.

Oh, and allow Hillary's name to be placed in nomination.  Submit to a REAL vote.-Caro

Dear Hillary Supporters (by herb the verb at Corrente)
I don't think I have expressed enough contempt for you yet.
All the best,
Barack Obama
In response to the change of mind on seating Florida and Michigan.-Caro
