We've heard a lot of talk about BHO's changing stand on many issues in this campaign.  The goopers are going to have a field day with this one come the general election if he's our nominee.  I thought we might remind the superdelegates out there of this huge gap in  BHO's armor, and of all those 527s out there with ads like the following clip in the can - just waiting to let loose on us once the convention's over.  Remember this mouldie oldie?

No need now.. OIL IN SOUTH DAKOTA!!! (0.00 / 0)
Estimated at 4 billion barrels, if not more. So perhaps offshore drilling is moot now. I sure hope so, I don't want to see our beautiful Florida beaches black with spills and our wildlife dying from it. I don't want to sit on a beach and see an oil platform in the distance, belching fire from its gas valves. Now that we have all that oil in South Dakota, perhaps that will ease the frantic search for new energy. And maybe we can use the revenues from the oil to develop new energy sources that aren't dependent on fossil fuels.

rather interesting. George Clooney, who won't be actually campaigning for Obama, is giving a fundraiser for him..in Switzerland. Of course, only American citizens, with passports, can donate. I have never really been a George Clooney fan, I don't care for men who are prettier than I am. But this ensures that I will never attend, rent or in any other way, see a movie of his. What, no one in Hollywood has money anymore? He can't do his fundraising in CA?

I wonder how many non-citizens will be funneling money to Obama via actual citizens. It's not like they can check up on it, the Swiss bank secrecy laws are legendary. They are quite capable of telling the FBI, the SEC, etc. to go stick it up their butts. And have done so in the past. Switzerland as a fundraising location really bothers me. No way can anyone find out the sources of any funds going to Obama from citizens abroad. Could be from anyone, anywhere.

They already have the "Both Ways Barack" ad, which makes Obama look like the shape shifter he is. Goppers don't care about FISA and women's reproductive freedom, but I do. Obama cannot be trusted.

also re. Public Campaign Financing:  How creepy it is that the first president in U.S. history to renounce public financing is a Democrat!  That has allowed a conservative like David Brooks to make the observation that activists "were interested in campaign finance reform only when the Republicans had more money." Same can be said for election integrity activists; when their guy benefits from lack of integrity, not a peep from the activists.
