Time: Obama Snubs Dinner Plans With Bill Clinton

Has Obama reached out to Bill Clinton?

Time magazine:

Meanwhile, if Hillary Clinton's feelings are still bruised, her husband's are positively raw. The former President is particularly resentful of suggestions-which he believes were fueled by the Obama camp-that he attempted to play upon racial fears during the primaries. Not helping is the fact that Obama has yet to follow up on the tentative dinner plans he and Bill Clinton made at the end of the primary season. "It's personal with him, in terms of his own legacy," says a friend of Bill Clinton's. "And the race stuff really left a bad taste in his mouth."

With a primary this close, why on earth are we even considering throwing the nomination to a guy who won't even show up to dinner with a former two-term president from his own party? A president whose goodwill on the campaign trail could pull us over the victory line in November?

Superdelegates, are you listening?

But really... I can't see Bill sitting there waiting by the phone.  While BHO's busy traveling the world pretending to be president, Bill's traveling the world and saving millions of lives with the work he's doing through his foundation.

Bill's work will continue on for generations.

BHO... he'll be crying in his beer (or whine or whatever) come November.  If not sooner!

i can't see bill crying himself to sleep over this one. (0.00 / 0)
i hope there aren't any bongo drums and cigars handy when bill gets the news this november that obama went down to defeat.

Barack Obama's election proves that any male can grow up to be president, provided he's willing to use misogyny as a campaign strategy.

Is Obama trying to unite the party? (0.00 / 0)
He seems insistent on dividing it. He should have made this a number 1 priority. He is a former two-term president from his own party.

BHO's negative political I.Q. strikes again. (0.00 / 0)
Really, that's all this is.  A neophyte who insists he's better than anyone else, and who's about to be taught a very severe lesson in November unless the DNC wises up NOW.

There's no excuse for this, DNC.  None.

'you now what' about dinner with Obama. Bill is in Africa actually making a difference there. What in the hell has Obama done for Africa, his father's homeland?

Bill is letting Obama sweat it. I hope I never see Bill campaigning with Obama. If anything Obama will be campaigning for Hillary when she wins the nomination.

No, he won't (0.00 / 0)
He will be sulking in Chicago, with occasional trips to DC for Senate stuff. It's a boring job, you know, so he doesn't really get into it much. Hell will freeze over before either Obama campaigns for Hillary Clinton. They just don't have it in them to be that generous. Hillary does. And Bill will too, if Obama asks him nicely. Heh.

Biill's really trying to help him (0.00 / 0)
Bill knows that we want to see that dinner, we want to see Barrack chatting with Bill and listening to him on what that first day in the white house felt like. They should record the conversation and turn it into a book.  If Barrack needed help coming up with questions for Bill, I'm sure some 'flying monkey's' would help him out.  I'd love to have Bill Clinton answering my questions.

Dear Bill,

If Barrack won't have dinner with you, would you like to dine with some flying monkeys?

Sincerely yours,

a junior flying monkey
