Obama's All-in-One Plan

by: Nobama

Fri Aug 08, 2008 at 01:43:59 AM EDT

If we put together all the things Obama has been saying about the economy, about his energy plan, about offshore oil drilling, and about his healthcare plan, it looks like this is what we end up with.

The idea is… (0.00 / 0)

With higher taxes, you won't have the money to buy as much food. If you lose weight, you won't use as much gas hauling your (rhymes with gas) around. Make sure your tires are properly inflated but overinflating them is dangerous. Do these things and you might save a cup of gas a week. If you get a tuneup, it might take 5 years for it to pay for itself in fuel savings.

It's important to get regular oil changes. Oil goes bad in your car over time so it's best to change it at regular intervals. If that oil comes from the good old USA, you'll be helping our economy. If it comes from overseas, you'll be helping to build indoor ski slopes and fund terrorism.

We should do all we can to conserve natural resources but we should exploit our own and depend less on foreign sources while developing alternatives.

I love it. You should make Obama's logo a background layer to really brand it as Mr. O's energy plan. You should also make an alternate just in case he flips on anything because you know he will; it's just a matter of time.

I don't even have Photoshop installed. I made the graphic in Apple's Pages app. I like the idea of Obama's logo for the background. I'll try to do a revised version soon.

When I saw (0.00 / 0)
this, it made me think of the those tire gauges McCain's campaign handed out. I got a good chuckle. Did you know that the RNC sent tire gauges to Obama's staff on Obama's birthday as a birthday present. LOL! Too rich.

I'm fixated on the losing weight part (0.00 / 0)
I really would love to pull my jeans away from my shrinking waste like that.

Save for higher taxes, all these look pretty good Nobama.
(Sorry ;))

A PSA is not a plan (0.00 / 0)

It's good to lose weight if you need to. It's a good idea to keep your tires properly inflated. It's good to use less gas.

The best thing we can do is develop domestic energy sources with two goals in mind:

1. Significantly reduce the need for foreign oil.
2. Develop alternative energy sources.

These efforts would improve our economy, create jobs, and reduce the flow of petrodollars to countries that don't like us. What we should NOT do is tap the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

I agree, not to be touched.

Obama's plans for the U.S. (0.00 / 0)
Considering that Obama has no real understanding of the problems that have been building in the U.S. economy, energy development and use, or the deplorable health industry, it's interesting that he dares to offer any solutions, but as you can see these offerings reflect the lack of his ability to comprehend the problems.

You made this graphic? (0.00 / 0)
This is great, and very clear.

Oh and he's also into corn-based ethonol! (0.00 / 0)
Which is the biggest scam there is, but he probably thinks it's some easy solution that won't make use change our lifestyles. If we grow food to fuel our cars, land will become more and more expensive as will food, which it already is! I doubt he's made the connection. Sugar-based ethonol at least gives more fuel per unit.

Awesome graphic and tutorial. Indoor ski slopes gah!
