Given the importance of this election
the crap state of our economy
the war
47 million people without healthcare
over 100,000 foreclosures in June
over 300,000 in July...

We can't wait antoher 4 years Hillary.  We need you NOW!

I was (0.00 / 0)
in Pittsburgh while you were having all the fun!

I posted at my blog and am extremely disappointed with the "out of order" ruling on the amendment re the caucuses.

I saw Dean when he came off the elevator- and he is one worried looking scrawny man. Tired, thin- like he doesn't get any sleep. Oh poor man, guilt will torment though.

Odd with the caucuses (0.00 / 0)
loved your live reporting PMM.

In another thread some noted that if camp O allows us to change the caucus system now, it would acknowledge what a shady victory they had in the primaries. IOW, they capitalized on (gender) discrimination, and voter disenfranchisement to secure the nom. The irony!

I'm reading Carl Bernstein's book on Hillary (0.00 / 0)
"A Woman in Charge" it's pretty good! I (like so many Democratic primary voters) only discovered her very late in the season, though luckily I switched to her before I voted on Super Tuesday.

Bernstein actually sticks to the facts and goes into Hillary's strengths over Bill and vice versa. He says at Yale, before she dated Bill, her classmates gravitated toward her because she was "always where the action was" - action as in career, leadership, etc. Oh and early on, before she was with Bill, many said she could be president someday. (You all probably knew this already.)

She's just got a real appetite for life. She is such an inspiration!

Her time is now and it is worth fighting for. (0.00 / 0)
Alegre, Thank you so much for this video and post.  I haven't finished watching it yet so I'm not sure if you created it but I think it should play on the big screen in Denver.

Beautiful...the lady and the music.

Someone posted a comment the other day reminding people that Barack Obama has never held a job nor even done the work he was elected to do.  The commenter (I wish I could remember who it was) pointed out that Obama made every position he has ever held into nothing more than a stepping-stone to the next.  We need to keep reminding people of that.

Oh, and here in Iowa we're beginning to see McCain ad's reminding us of Obama's "celebrity" status.  They're pretty good.  I think McCain believes he can win Iowa.  Our caucuses came before Jeremiah Wright and "God damn America" were made public and there are a lot of chagrined Dems in this state.  It wouldn't surprise me if McCain won Iowa.

I'm going camping this week.  I'll miss you guys.  Alegre, thanks for a lovely, poignant send-off.

'Bye, all.  See you Saturday.

Could happen! (0.00 / 0)
Its interesting that the press is finally coming around to at least considering such a scenario.  I'm wondering whether Dean is hearing from more than a few super delegates about the viability of an Obama candidacy.  Bill Clinton is still not on -board and willing to intimate as much publicly.  There may be a lot more going on privately.

The article also suggests that this dump of documents from the Clinton campaign, perhaps originally intentioned to embarrass Clinton, may actually do more harm to Obama.  The documents are rife with all of the bad things the Clinton campaign could think to say about Obama.

One more devious thought: I often wondered whether the Obama campaign's interest in Solis-Doyle was precisely because she might have some dirt that could be used to derail Clinton at an important juncture.  The fact that this stuff is coming out now, of all times, suggests that someone is worried.

Thanks for sharing that! (0.00 / 0)
Slowly, the press is starting to realize that Obama is not yet the nominee.

It's not too late! Un-suspend, Hillary!

Voter fraud (0.00 / 0)
FOX New has been covering voter fraud in Alabama and the are also investigating other instances of voter fraud in other states. ACORN is one on the organizations they looking at. They are looking at both Dems and Repub that are behind the fraud.

Here is a truly ridiculous quote (0.00 / 0)
There's an article up on Yahoo by Politico: 7 Worrisome Signs for Obama

http://news.yahoo.com/s/politi...

This quote really made me laugh: 1. Race. "The idea that Obama was going to win in a blowout was always preposterous," says former Nebraska senator and onetime presidential hopeful Bob Kerrey, an Obama backer. "A big piece of this, of course, is whether white people are going to support a black guy. ... If [Obama] is a tall, skinny white guy named Paul Jones, it's a different story."

Wake up Kerry! If [Obama] is a tall, skinny white guy named Paul Jones, he wouldn't be getting the nomination over Hillary Clinton, would he?

WV NEWS FLASH (NOT) (0.00 / 0)
Our state newspaper ran this today:
http://www.wvgazette.com/News/...

This was preceded by an earlier article by our governor that Obama could carry West Virginia.

P.S.  I live in a log house.

Suprised? (0.00 / 0)
I am not surprised the press "is finally coming around".
It was always anyone but Hillary and then worry about what's next.

So we are screwed and I believe that Obama is loosing his grip on a verge of a meltdown.
