We're not finished folks - not by a long shot!

Open Thread: I'm Still Standing!

Yeah yeah yeah!

True to her midwest roots, Hillary's one of the toughest survivors I've ever seen.  Today's just one more step on the road to the White House folks, and I can't thank Marc Ambinder and Ben Smith enough for pushing this story to the front of the pack.  Well done lads!

So let's celebrate today's news, and then get back to work.  We have twelve days - let's make history!

She's still IN IT TO WIN IT! and we need to help make her our dream a reality by reaching out to those delegates (pledged and super) to respectfully ask them to back her in Denver.

UPDATE:  Forgot to include this link to a video clip of Darragh Murphy and Will Bower on Hardball this evening.  David Schuster was a complete and arrogant ass and Darragh and Will handled him like a pro with the facts.  Check it out...

This is an open thread - what's on your mind?

right now, she's the only candidate who looks like they'll make it to november. (0.00 / 0)
she just keeps getting stronger and stronger, and obama's been limping for months - all through the last dozen primaries. no WONDER he needs a vacation - poor baby!

Barack Obama's election proves that any male can grow up to be president, provided he's willing to use misogyny as a campaign strategy.

for all I care.  In fact, I'd encourage it.

Let Hillary take it from here - she'll kick Mac's butt all the way back to Arizona.

Wow! Whatta Day! (0.00 / 0)
I don't know about you guys but I'm still on cloud nine over today's news.

Tomorrow - we hit the phones and fire off as many emails as we possibly can for the next 12 days.

Call your delegates (0.00 / 0)
Hillary is still in it.  This isn't over yet.  All Hillary supporters should find out who the Hillary pledged delegates are in their district and call them and urge them to vote for Hillary at the convention.  Hillary's delegates need a lot of positive support and encouragement from their "consitutents".

This will help you send an email to the super delegates in your state.  Breaks it down by who they endorsed etc.

Schuster's an Ass (0.00 / 0)
He confused the 6 million that puma raised to help retire Hillary's debt, and demanded that Darragh explain why one of her folks claimed they raised that for her group specifically.

What a moron.

Um, what the hell is Schuster talking about? (0.00 / 0)
In what world did Obama win the popular vote?

Medicare for All is Civil Rights

those are the counts... (0.00 / 0)
...giving him all the michigan uncommitted votes, and projecting votes based on caucus exit polls.

Well, with Hillary all we have to do is count votes cast. (0.00 / 0)
That's it.  So our numbers are simple addition.

we're not blessed... (0.00 / 0)
...with the rules and bylaws committee's gift of sight whereby they divine the secret, inner wishes of the voters. we're stuck with who they actually vote for.  the RBC is different. somehow, they just intuited that all those people who voted for those four delegates of hillary's actually supported obama. so did all the folks who voted "uncommitted". maybe that's obama's middle name - i dunno. it would make a good motto for his voting record, come to think of it.

middle name (0.00 / 0)

good one!  Since he doesn't want anyone using his actual middle name Hussein, Uncommited would be a great replacement.  Anyone know what his core values are?

Barack Uncommitted Obama

perfecto!

I thought he said Obama won withOUT the caucuses? (0.00 / 0)
(And if they don't/can't count the caucus votes, they damn well shouldn't be handing out delegates.) I'd watch it again to clarify, but I can't.

Ok, I'm irritated. D@MN! That a$$ just reminded me why I don't watch certain stations anymore. I need a drink. AARRRGH!

and what was Bower's response? (0.00 / 0)

He gave a short one-word reply which I couldn't understand.  Do you know what Bower said there?

I'm sure they are (0.00 / 0)
But, I don't stick around long enough to see the carnage. On my flybys, I see that they've been turning on each other and eating their own just from the diary titles and quick peeks behind their curtain.

I have stayed away from the news and net lately.  It's pathetic.  Didn't watch the "Church" debate.........No Fricken Thanks!  My father once told me when I was a little girl that more people had died over who God was than any other issue in the history of mankind and every year I live he just gets righter and righter.

WTF was Schuster talkin' about? (0.00 / 0)

The pop vote total now has to include MI and FL and that means Hillary won the popular vote by a nearly 300,000 vote margin, according to RCP. The pledged delegate differences would be negligible had the RBC/DNC not mucked things up so badly.

Country before party.

Schuster (0.00 / 0)
and Keith Obamaman are the absolute WORST.

and only Fox news has been reporting that Hillary actually has won the popular vote.  what's going on?!

I give MSNBC some credit though for having PUMA people on.

This is less an interview (0.00 / 0)
than what I'd expect to hear at a dinnertable conversation.  The kind where the host had to invite his obnoxious brother-in-law, who tries to convince everyone else present how smart he is and how dumb they are - by interrupting constantly.  The technique is - ask a question and cut off the answer by giving your own opinion.

Why does Shuster bother having guests?  He could just blather at the camera alone, like O'Reilly.  Shuster apparently is going to tell his guests what they think and how wrong they are to think that way.  I guess someone has coached him that strawman is the only acceptable argument to make on TV.

My favorite shot (0.00 / 0)
Hillary's heels in the foreground and Bill's admiring face in the background.  That was a very cool shot.  What an image!
